Pathways to Opportunity focuses on finding a balance between vocational and quality of life activities that meet the needs of each participant. Cosmo promotes skill development and independence through this smaller group setting. These participants enjoy a number of community-based outings.
When a company has needs assembly of a hinge or packaging of their product, they often contract with Cosmo to provide this service. We call this Cosmo-sourcing and our entire Contracts Division is dedicated to serving companies and organizations in Saskatoon and area.
When participants in Pathways engage in vocational activities, it is usually not under a contract. We look for activities which bring variety and novelty to our participants.
It is Pathways where all of the signs from the last election were taken apart and the various pieces either recycled or reused. Our participants really enjoyed this activity and it provided the city with a much needed service in getting the signs off the streets in record time.
